They got back there more easily than I did, haha, and I actually wondered if they had been back there before. They were willing to follow me and trust me to lead them, so I obliged, and after guiding them back to the top of the bridge to watch the HL, I decided to take them back into the BB OOB through Headbonker's Cave. They seemed experienced, so I face-planted, and sure enough, after a bit of trying, they did the same. They jumped off the edge of the bridge to return to the sand fall where the symbol was, and I decided then, 'Yes, I want to join this companion.' I thought tok_melody would continue on to view the HL and leave me behind, but I was wrong. It's usually at that point I can decide if it's the companion for me that night or not. Sometimes I like to wait and see if the companion will do something interesting or if they'll join me in meditating. When they got to the final segment, they paused to chirp at me, but I still wasn't sure if this was a companion I wanted to accompany. Unsure of what kind of companion they would be, I continued to watch them from my meditation spot. I sat at the top of the bridge on the broken pillar nearest the edge and watched said WC for a while as they went around and collected the different symbols, starting with the one above the sand falls, then the one in the small cave, then the final one near the start of the BB.Īt that point, the distance between us was too great, and we DC'd, but lo-and-behold, I saw a WC hopping up the broken segments of the bridge with the same symbol, the Klowny symbol. When I first entered the BB and flew around to collect different symbols, I found another WC who seemed content with ignoring me whenever I tried to get their attention to show them stuff, which was fine, but it wasn't what I wanted in a companion that particular day, so I CS'd in PD when we got separated and hopped back into the BB.ĭashed around to all corners of the map to collect the symbols, then boosted up onto the bridge, zipping past a WC as I did so.
